We hope you will join us at Richland Avenue Park for our annual picnic gathering on Wednesday, and even though school has begun, everyone will enjoy a fun summer evening with fellow Birth Circle families. All are welcome!
Donations are still being accepted for our annual yard sale! If you have maternity, baby and child-related items to donate which are gently used and in good working order, please bring them to 102 Sunnyside in Athens. For more information, you can email Carolyn at email@example.com. If you would like a donation receipt, please contact Claudia at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you to everyone who has already donated!
We are looking for several shifts to be covered–set up, clean up and everything in between! This year the sale will be held at the East State Street shelter house. This fundraiser helps us continue to bring you informative meetings and fun family events! Please contact Carolyn at email@example.com if you would like to help out – thank you!!

Call For Volunteers: Birth Circle at the Paw Paw Festival
Every year, the Birth Circle co-sponsors a baby care and nursing tent at the Paw Paw festival. (Sept 11-13 at Lake Snowden) Last year, it served around 100 visitors, and this year we expect it to be better, with more space and some programming. WE NEED YOUR HELP to plan and pull this off! If you are interested in assisting with donations, set up/tear down, planning, programming, and anything else please contact Rachel Szostek at firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up at this month’s meeting. We want this to be a place of comfort and retreat for families, and we need a strong committee to make that happen!
Thank you to all who attended our meeting last night! Here is the contact information for Ruby Kilkinney, who talked to us about car seat safety.

Friends Meeting House in Chauncey
For a third year in a row we have received generous funding from the Athens Foundation, as well as the Quidel Cares Fund, to hold our Prepared Mommy Camp! This week-long Camp for pregnant teens is one of our most important programs. At Camp the participants will learn about and discuss such topics as healthy pregnancy, labor and birth, infant care, positive parenting and looking toward the future, all the while forming bonds of support with each other. You can be a part of it by volunteering your time to help out during the week of Camp, providing transportation or donating new or gently used mama and baby-related items or gift cards. We are looking for more participants so if you know of someone who would benefit from this experience, please email email@example.com, phone 740-517-8441, or they can fill out our online form at Prepared Mommy Camp 2015 Sign-Up Form.
Thanks for your help and support of this transformative program!

It is an incredible week indeed!
